Denver Broncos Returner Preview

Trindon Holliday is the obvious starter for both punt and kick returner. The Broncos picked him up after the Houston Texans let him go because of fumbling issues. That issue continued when he was signed by the Broncos, but it became less and less of a problem as the season went on. He had one punt return and one kick return for a touchdown last season, but he is the best weapon the Broncos have had returning the football in a very long time. He also took one to the house against the Ravens in the playoffs. He averaged 32 yards per return last season with the Broncos which is pretty exceptional.

The Broncos still need guys behind him just in case he gets hurt. Lance Ball will likely be one of the top guys behind him. The Bronco coaches have shown that they are not afraid to trust him. Omar Bolden is also one of the top kick returners on the team. He made some mistakes last season, but he should continue to grow. Luckily he will not need to return kicks, as long as Holliday is healthy and ready to play.

Holliday is one of the best returners in the league. He is very fast and as long as he shores up his fumbling issues, he will be in the league and hopefully on the Broncos for a very long time.
