Danilo Gallinari Out Until February?

Danilo Gallinari still has not had surgery on his torn ACL and will not for another two weeks. According to the 8-10 month timetable, that could put him out until February. I have no idea why he has not had surgery yet, but he did recently have surgery on his meniscus. Even if he comes back in February, he could take him a month or two to even get back into his normal basketball shape.

If Gallo is out for a long time, Wilson Chandler would likely start in his place. He is a good player and I am glad that he would get a good amount of minutes. Evan Fournier would be one of the first players off of the bench. He showed that he could handle big minutes last season and I am hoping that carries over next season. Fournier might even get a chance to start if Karl decides that Chandler would be a better player to come off of the bench.

I hope Gallo will make a quick and speedy recovery, but that is looking bleak. The Nuggets may lose an entire season from him because of this.

The Nuggets should not lose much, because of Gallo's injury, as long as they acquire a good three point shooter in the offseason.
