NBA Finals Game 2 Preview

After the Spurs stole game 1 in Miami, the Heat will be looking for revenge. The Spurs should come out as their normal calculated selves, but the Heat need to make some major changes. They need to find a way to get Kawhi Leonard off of LeBron. Leonard really bothered LeBron last game, as shown by his 2-8 shooting when Leonard was guarding him. If they could run some pick and rolls with LeBron as the ball handler, they will be able to get some switches that will work in favor of the Heat.

Wade and Bosh need to improve, but I doubt that it happens. This game will fall on LeBron's shoulders. Wade needs to work on his shot selection, in order to improve. Same with Bosh, if he take four three pointers in a game again, he should get a talkin' to about his game.

The Spurs should come out focused like they always do. They should know that no one on that team has a chance, besides LeBron, to guard him, he even gives LeBron a lot of troubles. They will try to keep Leonard on LeBron as much as possible and make him shoot jumpers by going underneath screens. Duncan should continue to dominate in the paint and on the boards. The Spurs have a lot of room to improve from game 1 and I expect them to work on that a lot in practice.

I think the Heat will bounce back and win game 2, as long as they make the correct adjustments. If they end up dropping this game, you can bank on this series being over in five games or less. LeBron should have a better scoring outing in game two as he figures out a better way to shake Leonard. Parker and Duncan will still be dominant, but they wont be able to counteract the play of James. I still think the Spurs will win the series, going back to San Antonio with the series split one-one is a win for them.
