Wilson Chandler Separates Shoulder

Wilson Chandler separated his left shoulder in the 4th quarter of the game tonight. If Chandler misses an extended period of time the Nuggets could be in trouble. He is their best scorer off of the bench and also provides solid defense.

The good news it is his left shoulder which is not his shooting shoulder. That should mean he could come back earlier than normal.

The Nuggets play Philadelphia and Sacramento in their next two games so he could sent both of those games. Hopefully the separation is not that bad and he will be able to come back after those two games. They will need him for their tilt against the Spurs in San Antonio.

  1. Didn't he foul out?

Did the shoulder separation occur at the same exact time as his last foul?

If not, he was playing with it...

    1. He separated his shoulder when he was trying to get around a pick. That was also his 5th foul

  2. You should take a close look at that play. Durant comes off a screen from Collison, Chandler gets his arm caught in between. At this moment, Durant creates contact with his shoulder as Collison pushes the other direction causing the seperation. Then they call the foul on Chandler? Not saying Durant or Collison are dirty players but Durant creates all of the contact in an attempt to draw the foul.

    1. Oh that is due to the star power in the NBA. Durant will always get those calls. Look at the McGee block in that game for an example
