Broncos Offseason Moves Part 1

The Denver Broncos cut DJ Williams as a part of a cap saving move that will save the team 6 million this season. Williams was supplanted as starter by Wesley Woodyard because DJ had to serve suspensions. Woodyard clearly outplayed him and there is no need for a backup linebacker that will cost the team 6 million. DJ will find a home elsewhere, but he will not be getting paid as lavishly as he did last season.

They also decided to sign S David Bruton to a 3 year contract. This is a good resigning because Bruton always brings it on special teams and has become one of the leagues best special teams performers. He is also an adequate backup safety.
