The speedster DRC was in Denver for a visit today and is rumored to be attending the Nuggets game tonight. The Broncos brass is hoping to work out a contract soon, but nothing will get done until Doom's contract situation has played out. They would have to pay DRC a good sum of money in order to use his services for the next couple of years, but it would be worth it.
DRC is a good young corner who has blazing speed and decent ball skills. He played his best years with the Cardinals, but that was because they had a much better all around defense than the Eagles. The Broncos defense was top 10 last season and was especially good at defending the pass. DRC would have an elite pass rush assuming Doom stays with the team.
DRC would be starting across from Champ Bailey with Chris Harris manning the 3rd spot in the nickel which is basically starting since the Broncos play so much nickel. He would add to the formidable defense by adding speed and playmaking ability. Look for this defense to establish itself as a top defense if in fact he is signed.
