Lakers star Kober Bryant severely sprained his ankle last night after Dhantay Jones undercut him on a fadeaway jumper. Most Lakers fans thought this was an intentional dirty play. After their reaction on Twitter it sounded like Jones murdered Kobe in cold blood. If Kobe does not come back quick he might as well of murdered the Lakers season because they are not going anywhere if Kobe Bryant is not in uniform.
The Lakers only weapon would be Dwight Howard who would see a lot more touches in Kobe's absence and it would be interesting to see him and Nash run some plays together without Kobe interfering.
The Lakers have no other offensive weapons and no body that could take over a game offensively outside of maybe Howard. If Kobe is out for an extended period of time the Utah Jazz could sneak back into the 8th seed.
