The Mavericks have bolster their front court with older veterans. Brand will be the first player off the bench and this guy can average a double double so he's not a and option for a 6th man. Brand will proved reliable rebounding and scoring. This doesn't make the Mavs legitimate contenders because they still need outside scoring, but it does help their future endeavors.
